Celebrating Literacy Day Through the Joy of Reading On the occasion of Literacy Day, students participated in an engaging Book Reading Session featuring Pratham Books. The session provided young readers with an opportunity to explore colourful and thoughtfully crafted stories, encouraging them to discover the joy and magic hidden within the pages of a book. The children listened with enthusiasm, observed the illustrations, shared their thoughts and responses, and connected the stories with their own experiences. The interactive reading experience helped enhance their reading, listening, comprehension and communication skills, while also nurturing imagination, curiosity and a love for books. The session beautifully reinforced the message that every book opens a door to a new world, and every story has something wonderful to teach us. 🌈📖💫

🍎🥕 Quiz Time – Exploring “Our Food” The students enthusiastically participated in an engaging Quiz Activity based on the topic “Our Food.” Through a series of interesting and thought-provoking questions, children tested their understanding of healthy and unhealthy foods, balanced meals, food groups, eating habits, and the importance of nutritious food. The quiz encouraged learners to recall, think, reason and respond quickly, making the learning experience interactive and enjoyable. It also helped reinforce important concepts while developing observation, critical thinking, listening and communication skills. 🌟 With curious minds and enthusiastic responses, our young learners discovered that making healthy food choices is an important step towards staying happy, active and healthy!

🍎 Think–Pair–Share: Exploring “Our Food” The students participated in an engaging Think–Pair–Share activity based on the topic “Our Food.” They were presented with thought-provoking questions related to their food choices, healthy eating habits, favourite foods, and the importance of a balanced diet. First, they thought independently and reflected on their answers. They then paired up with a classmate to discuss and compare their ideas before confidently sharing their responses with the class. The activity encouraged children to listen to different perspectives, express their thoughts clearly, and learn from their peers. It also helped them develop communication, collaboration, critical-thinking and decision-making skills, while creating awareness about making healthy and nutritious food choices. 🌟 Learning became meaningful as children shared their ideas, listened to others, and discovered that every healthy meal is a step towards a healthier and happier life!

Sentence Auction – Punctuation in Action! The students of Class II participated in an exciting and interactive language activity, “Sentence Auction,” to strengthen their understanding of punctuation marks. The teacher read out sentences with a deliberate “beep” at the place where a punctuation mark was needed. The learners carefully listened to the sentence and quickly held up the appropriate punctuation card—such as a full stop, question mark, or exclamation mark. The activity turned punctuation practice into a fun listening-and-thinking challenge. It encouraged students to listen attentively, identify sentence types, make quick decisions, and apply punctuation rules with confidence. Through this engaging experience, the young learners discovered that even a tiny punctuation mark can change the meaning and expression of a sentence. Learning punctuation was never this much fun! 📝⭐
