Important circular - 30.12.20

 Dear Parents , Kindly note that the school will be closed  for Winter Break from 31st December 2020 to 10 th January 2021. It will reopen on 11th January 2021. The admin office and fee counter will stay open on all working days .  Class 1- Staying safe- Student's book- pg.60- Picture Comprehension- Write a sentence for each picture telling about the dangers shown was done. Class 2- Topic- Adverbs was explained and the Worksheet was discussed.

 Class 1- Listening skill activity was conducted in the class.  Class 2 - Listening skill activity was conducted in the class.

 Class 1 - Habitat of different animals were discussed. Workbook pg.40 was done. PCM 22 was given as practice.  Class 2- Adverb and adverbial phrase - student's book page 57 was done. Sentences were given for practice.  Global perspective- Topic - Recycling was continued.  Video of Recycling paper was shown. How to make paper at home was discussed. 

Christmas Celebrations

T Christmas is celebrated on December 25 and is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. For two millennia, people around the world have been observing  it with traditions and practices that are both religious and  secular in nature. Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings  form the basis of their religion. Popular customs include exchanging gifts,  decorating Christmas trees, attending church,  sharing meals with family and friends and,  of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive. December 25th. The students of Cambridge section celebrated Christmas by singing and dancing on Christmas Carols, Listening and enjoying the story of Ginger breadman, Knowing about the history and significance of Christmas and dressing up to suffice the theme of the festival. They also understood the meaning of Christmas by helping the ones in need.

National Mathematics Day

  Remembering the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on his 133rd birthday. Let's know about his marvellous feats which he accomplished in just 32 years of his total life span. Ramanujan was one of the youngest members of Britain's Royal Society and the first Indian to be elected a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge University. His contribution to mathematical analysis, infinite series, continued fractions and number theory was immense. Ramanujan is most popular for his contribution in analytical theory of numbers, elliptic functions, continued fractions, and infinite series. He credits his mathematical findings to Namagiri (a form of Hindu Goddess Lakshami)

Activity- Class 1 -Identifying the number of syllables

Activity- The students did the activity by putting their hand under their jaw and finding the number of syllables in a word by counting the number of times their chin touched their hand.

 Class 1- Syllables worksheet was done in the class. Student's book page-58- Identify syllables and split was discussed in the class. Class 2- PCM- 11 was done- Identify the animal after reading the description, was done in the class.

 Class 1 - Syllables- The game and the activity on syllables was done in the class. Practice at home. Class 2- PCM- 12( posted on Teams) was discussed and the topic of Asking questions was done in the class. Complete the work and upload. Dictation of Unit-6 New words tomorrow.
