Commutative Property of Addition Activity : Kitty finds her mate Flash cards with simple addition problems were distributed to each student. Half of the problem is written on one flash card and the other half of the same problem is written on the other flash card only with addends reversed. the students find the mate of Kitty and then solve the Addition problem and as a result finds out that sum is same even after the order of addends is changed.
Addition- Mental Maths Activity : Magic with beads Since counting so many beads together in such a manner is a long method. So, we arrange the beads in groups of 10. Student count the number of tens on the string along with the teacher like 10, 20, 30, and so on. Total number of beads is counted as 100. Now each group of beads here represents 1 ten. 10 tens = 1 hundred Tags of 100, 200, 300 and so on after 10 beads each.
National Bal Bhavan visit
The visit was enjoyed by the students. The mini zoo, Recreation park, Laughing mirrors, Aquarium, Galleries showcasing glimpses from History in the form of doll house, Gallery on the life of rural India, Cultures of India, glimpses from the life of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru and Traffic Training Park.
