Commutative Property of Addition
Activity : Kitty finds her mate
Flash cards with simple addition problems were distributed to each student. Half of the
problem is written on one flash card and the other half of the same problem is written
on the other flash card only with addends reversed.
the students find the mate of Kitty and then solve the Addition problem and as a result finds out that 
sum is same even after the order of addends is changed.
