Republic Day is celebrated on January 26  in India marking the day when the Indian Constitution came to force. The day is celebrated with great pomp and fervour in the country. The lanes of Rajpath witnessing large-scale celebrations that include the Indian Army, Navy and Airforce. The 69th Republic Day will be attended by the ten heads of Association of Southeast Asian Nations or ASEAN leaders. This is the first time, the Republic Day celebrations will have 10 chief guests. They are from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei. We at DAV Pushpanjali also celebrated Republic day in school. Blooming Buds of class 2 sang The National song "Vande Matram".

Army Day  is celebrated on 15 th  January every year in India, in recognition of  Field Marshal   Kodandera M. Cariappa 's (then a Lieutenant General) taking over as the first Commander-in-Chief of the  Indian Army  from  General   Sir Francis Butcher , the last British  Commander-in-Chief  of India, on 15 th  January 1949. The day is celebrated in the form of parades and other military shows in the national capital  New Delhi  as well as in all headquarters. On 15 th  January 2017, India celebrated its 69 th  Indian Army day in New Delhi. Army Day marks a day to salute the valiant soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the country and its citizens. In 1942, K M Cariappa becomes the first Indian Army Officer who was passed on to command a unit. We at DAV Public school Pushpanjali Enclave Acknowledge and Salute the sacrifice made by our Armymen. 

Experiment  plays many roles in science. One of its  important  roles is to test theories and to provide the basis for scientific knowledge. The children learn the concept by Doing. And arrive at a conclusion on their own. The  filtration  process is generally used to separate a suspension mixture where small solid particles are suspended in liquid or air. In the case of filtering water, the water is forced through a paper that is made up of a very fine mesh of fibers. The water that has been run through the filter is called the filtrate.

The activity is about the basic concept of  multiplication , and about the connection between  multiplication  and  addition . Multiplication  is defined as meaning that you have a certain number of groups of the same size. Then, it can be solved by  repeated addition. By Putting same no. of kidney beans in each section of ice tray the students made the tables on their own. .
