Paper ball activity- Fractions

Developing the understanding of Fractions. 
Activity- What is 1/4 of 12? The students tried to develop the  understanding of the concept by placing the 12 paper balls in the bar line divided in 4 parts and finding the number of balls in 1/4 part of the bar line. Many such questions were investigated by the students with the help of this activity.
