Visit to Metro Rail Museum on 16.10.15 (Friday)         SOUTH ASIA'S FIRST METRO MUSEUM IN NEW DELHI South  Asia's first modern    Metro Museum,   showcasing the  Delhi Metro, in New Delhi, is the only such installation worldwide in an operational Metro station. Metro Museums can be found in only a few European, US and Japanese cities, but the one at Delhi Metro is the only one of its kind in an operational station (Patel Chowk) set up in a short duration of two months. The museum, a collection of display panels, historical photographs and exhibits, traces the genesis of the Delhi Metro which took 32 years to reach the operational stage from the drawing boards, major milestones, issues regarding the selection of the technology such as rolling stock (trains), rail gauge, etc. Please note :- Visit will be within school timings. Please send your ward in proper school uniform along with I - Card.

Dress your child so as to cover as much of the body as possible to reduce exposed skin. Make your child wear light – coloured clothes (dark colours attract mosquitoes.) Use Citronella oil based creams and creams and sprays or other mosquito repellents. Use mosquito nets while sleeping. Close the windows at dawn and dusk (active mosquito times) to prevent mosquitoes from entering your house. Use flying insect spray in sleeping area to kill mosquitoes. Eliminate stagnant water.
