Class 2- Fiction or Non fiction
Exploring the World of Books: Fiction and Non-Fiction
The students of Class II participated in an engaging library activity where they learned to distinguish between fiction and non-fiction books. With curiosity and excitement, they explored a variety of books and carefully examined their covers, titles, and content before classifying them into the correct categories.
Through this hands-on activity, the young learners discovered that fiction books spark imagination with make-believe stories and characters, while non-fiction books provide factual information about the world around us. The activity enhanced their reading awareness, critical thinking, and observation skills while fostering a deeper appreciation for different genres of books.
It was a joyful learning experience that empowered our budding readers to make thoughtful book choices and nurtured a lifelong love for reading and discovery.
