The students of Class II embarked on an exciting vocabulary-building adventure by learning how to use a dictionary. With great enthusiasm, they explored alphabetical order, searched for unfamiliar words, and discovered their meanings independently. The activity encouraged young learners to become confident word explorers, helping them expand their vocabulary while developing essential reference skills. As they found and understood new words, they also learned how to use them in meaningful contexts, making language learning both interactive and enjoyable. This hands-on experience fostered curiosity, independence, and a love for words, empowering our budding readers and writers to enrich their language skills one word at a time.

Exploring the Different Sounds of 'ou' The students of Class II enthusiastically explored the different sounds of the letter combination 'ou' through an engaging flashcard activity. Using colourful flashcards, they identified and sorted words based on the various sounds of 'ou', such as in cloud, young, should, and four. The interactive activity encouraged students to observe spelling patterns, recognise pronunciation differences, and expand their vocabulary in a fun and meaningful way. As they read aloud, discussed, and classified the words, they strengthened their phonics skills and gained greater confidence in reading and speaking. The activity transformed phonics into an enjoyable learning experience, helping our young learners become more observant, confident, and enthusiastic readers.
