English Activity Week- On Day 1 Object Poetry was introduced to the students. In which each group was given a topic and the students created a poem on that topic.
The students of class 2 developed the sense of appreciation and enhanced their vocabulary by reading the poem from around the world. They read the poem- Dancing poinciana written by Tancine Turner. They also identified the country from the clues given in the poem. They enjoyed the session.
This Rakshabandhan, students of Class 1, DAVPS Cambridge Wing celebrated with a unique social initiative. The initiative- "Vrikshabandhan" - was conceptualised as a way to honour the greens that give us life, by embracing and tying a Rakhi to trees with a special message of love, and promising to protect and nourish them, just as they protect and nourish human life.
