Introduction 

While we all think that 'Corona Times' have brought out the best in us as teachers, we might need to rethink about our boundaries! 

The profession is now counted as one of the most dynamic fields with respect to the current changing times and a constant need to also help children achieve the best in their life beyond academics. There some imperative 21st century skills that a Future Teacher will need:

 

1.Strong Subject Knowledge


Mix your passion with a deep understanding of your subjects. Upgrade your knowledge. Dive deeper into it and make it fun in the classroom.


2. Be a Facilitator

Be a total package for the children! Be a motivator, a safe space for children to talk anything, source of encouragement and someone they get inspiration from.


3. Super Social Skills 


Master your social skills; Solve problems by communicating better, work smarter with team structures and take feedback often. 


4. External Focus 

A key part of this is likely to be applying learning to “real-world situations” for your students to understand better. 


5. Digital Help 

Mould your digital resources to understand your students better. Maintain a data of your students' key performance areas and analyse that data, over the time to help them work on their weak areas better.

Conclusion 

At the end of the day, a teacher is just not an educator but an important person, who can impact a child's mind and future in a positive direction. Help them look beyond the class room walls, there by you equip them for a brave new world.
